If we help every woman to read and and write 500 million can pull themselves into independence.

Giving Tuesday

Giving Tuesday is an international day of giving that encourages people to think charitably before the Christmas season starts. To help celebrate Giving Tuesday, Project Literacy has collaborated with artist Jasenko Đorđević to create a series of pencil sculptures to highlight some of the biggest global issues that are impacted by illiteracy. We're unveiling the first of our sculptures today.

We’re encouraging people to help over 30 literacy organizations by making one donation to Project Literacy. Each organization is working to tackle the issues that literacy helps create by providing of people around the world with the opportunity and independence that literacy education provides.
