Nutrition & Education International works to fight malnutrition in Afghanistan. There is a lack of basic understanding about nutrition and the causes of stunted growth, so NEI’s first task was to overcome this. Focusing on soybean production, the most economically efficient form of protein, they have raised awareness and created a market for soy seed and soybean production, serving schools and communities alike.
