Project Literacy Lab alumni Wizenoze head for BETT

Wizenoze at Project Literacy Lab

Project Literacy Lab

"In November 2017, Wizenoze BV was invited to join Project Literacy Lab, an initiative from Pearson and the Unreasonable Group that brought together 13 ventures working towards closing the global literacy gap. When we received the invitation, we did not know what to expect but we were excited by the idea of meeting experts and mentors working around the topic of literacy.

As it turns out, participating in Project Literacy Lab turned out to be a crucial business moment for Wizenoze, as, based on all the analyses and feedback we received, we decided to change our business approach. Instead of trying to sell two products in three verticals, we now focus on only selling one product in one vertical. It sounds so logical, but deciding to do this had lots of tough implications, but we are confident that it is the right thing thanks to the guidance we received at the Lab.

The Web for Classrooms

So, how are we helping in delivering literacy to the world? Wizenoze wants to give students and teachers access to an internet that matches their reading skills and the curriculum. We have created the largest  curated collection of online content available in the world today. Our Web for Classrooms consists of more than 6 million pages and is comprehensively indexed by reading level ability, giving people with lower reading skills access to an internet they understand, across the globe. A free trial is available at https://collection.wizenoze.com/ and more information can be found on www.wizenoze.com

BETT

From January 23-27, we will show The Web for Classrooms at BETT, the education technology fair that brings together thousands of people from the global education community. We are looking forward to meeting teachers, ed tech buyers and school management to show them how they can save lots of time in finding relevant information that matches the curriculum. Come visit us at stand G422."
